How Kristini’s Teas Came to Be

I fell in love with tea at the age of nine. One evening, my mom called, “Kristini”—my childhood nickname—“come watch a movie with us.” The film was Pride and Prejudice, and I was immediately captivated: the dresses, the dancing, the tension, and Mr. Darcy emerging from a pond in a clinging white shirt. But it wasn’t just the romance that stayed with me—it was how often meaningful conversations happened over a simple cup of tea. Even then, I could sense that tea was more than a beverage. It was a bridge between people, a space for presence and intimacy.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, I—like so many others—felt an urgent need to care for myself and those around me.

A quiet voice inside whispered, Make your own tea. So I walked to Cambridge Naturals, filled paper bags with herbs from their bulk wall, and started blending. I studied herbal properties and steeped myself in formulas designed to soothe anxiety, support immunity, and ease both physical and emotional aches. These teas supported me through uncertainty, and when I shared them with friends, their response was overwhelming. One friend called me and said, “You NEED to sell these teas.”

I named the company Kristini’s Teas in honor of the brave little girl who believed in the magic of connection. Today, I create small-batch herbal blends that support the body, mind, and spirit. Every formula is crafted with organic herbs sourced from small, sustainable farms I know and trust. I approach blending as both a science and an art—combining the therapeutic properties of each plant with the emotional intention behind each cup. Whether you’re navigating stress, tending to your immune system, or simply seeking a moment of calm, my hope is that these teas offer you a sense of comfort, care, and connection.

Tea has long been a tool for healing, ritual, and relationship. May these blends meet you exactly where you are—and gently guide you toward where you wish to be.

With Love,
Kristina
