Inner Peace Blend
2 oz. package; 8 servings; 2 tsp each
When life turns physically and emotionally stressful, we can turn to these herbs to help bring back the balance.
Flavor Profile:
Balanced sweet and floral notes, along with earthiness from the violet and skullcap leaves.
Herb Information:
*Chamomile: One of the most popular flowers used to treat emotional anxiety and indigestion (anxiety of the stomach, if you will)
*Lavender: A cooling, anxiety-relieving flower
*Skullcap: An herb in the mint family that detoxifies and helps combat insomnia
*Violet: An herb known for its help in fostering love and peacefulness in the emotional body and for treating a sore throat in the physical body
*Tulsi: An herb known for counteracting physical and emotional stress
Brewing Instructions
Quick Brew: Place 2 tsp of tea in a tea infuser or disposable tea bag. Heat 8 oz (1 cup) water to a rolling boil (about 212 degrees F, 100 degrees C). Let the water sit for one minute after boiling, then pour water into the infuser or mug. Steep for 5 minutes.
Medicinal Brew: Place 2 tsp of tea in a tea infuser or disposable tea bag. Heat 8 oz (1 cup) water to a rolling boil (about 212 degrees F, 100 degrees C). Let the water sit for one minute after boiling, then pour water into the infuser or mug. Steep for 10 minutes.
Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations:
When your tea is ready, take a deep inhale and let the aroma relax you (that steam is full of those volatile oils that hold the benefits!). I love this tea on its own or with a spoonful of raw honey added.
