2 oz. package; 8 servings; 2 tsp each
The perfect iced tea blend when all you want to do is cool off.
Flavor Profile:
fruity, tart, slightly sweet mint
Herb Information:
Spearmint: A cooling herb
Rosehips: High in vitamin C
Hibiscus: High in vitamin C and antioxidants
Raspberry Leaf: Rich in vitamins; helps tone the urinary tract and uterus in women and reduces bleeding
Brewing Instructions
Quick Brew: Place 2 tsp of tea in a tea infuser or disposable tea bag. Heat 8 oz (1 cup) water to a rolling boil (about 212 degrees F, 100 degrees C). Let the water sit for one minute after boiling, then pour water into the infuser or mug. Steep for 10 minutes.
Medicinal Brew: Preparing a cold infusion will extract the most vitamin C. Place 2 tsp of tea in a tea infuser or disposable tea bag. Pour 8 oz (1 cup) of cold or room-temp water into the infuser or mug. Steep for at least one hour. Can place the tea in the fridge to steep overnight.
Kristina’s Preparation Recommendations:
For iced tea: Place ice in your hot tea to cool it down, then place ice in again. Or, place room temperature tea in the fridge to get cold before serving. This tea is sweet-tart on its own, but a little honey never hurts. :)
